Due to promotion and further expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a general practice surveyor to join the Estates Team within Property Services. Applicants must be RICS qualified surveyors with Registered Valuer status (or an ability to secure the same). You will undertake valuations of Council property assets and a wide range of other professional duties, including landlord/tenant activities whilst generally assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive estates service.

You will use judgement and experience pragmatically to make decisions, interpret and apply national legislation, providing guidance and applying relevant Council policy.

The position requires someone who is enthusiastic committed, self motivated, has a positive, professional and responsible attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team working to tight timescales.

You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the principals of customer care, while displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
